On the endless blue west coast of the Ionian island of Lefkada, just 12 km from the sophisticated capital of Lefkas Town, lies the traditional, cosmopolitan village of Agios Nikitas, a seaside fishing village that has managed to keep its traditional natural beauty, charm and character, declared as a traditional settlement by the Ministry of Environment.

In just 5 minutes walk from the villa, lies the village of Agios Nikitas, where one can find mini markets, shops, cafes and taverns with great food and a magic view to the picturesque bay of Agios Nikitas and the nearby coastline. Some of the most beautiful west coast beaches of Lefkada, like Mylos, Kalamitsi, Megali Petra are only 10 minutes away whereas famous Egremnoi and Porto Katsiki lie 30 minutes from Agios Nikitas. Bonus! the nightlife of Lefkada is just 15 minutes away.
TRAVELLING TO LEFKADA
Lefkada is an island, but there is a bridge connecting it to the mainland. Hence, you can reach the island by car, taxi or plane. Oh and ferry. It's an island after all.

PLANE
The closest airport Aktion Preveza Airport (its IATA code is PVK) is only 20 minutes drive (18km) away on mainland Greece. There are regular buses and taxis to Lefkas.

BUS
The distance from Athens to Lefkada is 385 km, which would be less than 4,5 hours by bus (or car). Another 14 km to Agios Nikitas (about 15 minutes).

FERRY
You can also reach Lefkada by ferry from Ithaki, Kefalonia, and Meganisi. Ferries arrive on the ports of Nidri and Vasiliki.
